12 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)2 boneless chicken thighs or breasts2 tbsp olive oil3 cloves garlic, minced1 tsp red pepper flakes½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped1 cup heavy cream½ cup grated Parmesan cheese½ cup reserved pasta waterFresh basil for garnishSalt and pepper to taste

Cook the Chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Sear in olive oil over medium heat until golden brown. Remove and set aside.Prepare the Sauce: In the same pan, sauté garlic and red pepper flakes. Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer gently.Cook the Pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water.Combine: Return the chicken to the pan, toss in cooked pasta, and mix well. Use reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.Serve: Garnish with fresh basil and additional Parmesan.
