Ingredients
  

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • - 1 tsp baking powder
  • - ¼ tsp salt
  • - ⅔ cup granulated sugar
  • - 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender buds
  • - Zest of 1 lemon
  • - ½ cup unsalted butter room temp
  • - 1 egg room temp
  • - ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • - 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • For the Glaze:
  • - 1 cup powdered sugar sifted
  • - 1 tbsp melted butter
  • - 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • - 1 tbsp lavender syrup

Instructions
 

  • Blend sugar, lemon zest, and lavender in a food processor.
  • Cream butter with lavender sugar until light.
  • Add egg, lemon juice, and vanilla; mix.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients; form dough.
  • Chill dough for 2 hours.
  • Roll into balls, flatten, and bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes.
  • Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled cookies.

Notes

 - Chill dough to maintain shape.
- Adjust lavender to taste if stronger or milder floral notes are desired.
- Cookies can be frozen (unbaked or baked without glaze).
