- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp cornstarch to thicken the filling
- For the Batter:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional Toppings:
- 1 tbsp brown sugar for caramelized crispness
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving
Prepare the Peaches:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
