Description

Crispy fried mushrooms paired with a creamy Cool Ranch Dip. A crunchy, flavorful appetizer that’s easy to make and loved by all.


Ingredients

– 1 lb button mushrooms
– 1 cup flour
– ½ cup cornstarch
– 2 eggs
– 1 cup buttermilk
– 2 cups breadcrumbs (panko)
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp paprika
– Salt and pepper
– Oil for frying
For Cool Ranch Dip: ½ cup sour cream, ½ cup mayonnaise, 1 tbsp ranch seasoning, 1 tsp dill, 1 tsp garlic powder


Instructions

1. Clean mushrooms and pat dry.
2. Set up coating station with flour mix, egg wash, and breadcrumbs.
3. Dredge mushrooms in flour, dip in egg wash, then coat with breadcrumbs.
4. Fry in oil heated to 350°F until golden brown.
5. Prepare the dip by mixing sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, dill, and garlic powder.
6. Serve mushrooms hot with Cool Ranch Dip.
