Description

A hearty side dish combining fresh green beans, tender potatoes, and crispy bacon, seasoned with ranch and aromatic herbs.


Ingredients

– 1 lb fresh green beans (trimmed)
– 4 cups baby potatoes (diced)
– 6 slices bacon (chopped)
– 1 onion (diced)
– 2 garlic cloves (minced)
– 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
– 1 cup chicken broth
– ½ tsp dried thyme
– ½ tsp dried rosemary
– Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Cook chopped bacon until crispy, set aside, and reserve drippings.
2. Sauté diced onion in drippings, then add garlic.
3. Brown diced potatoes in the skillet for 5–7 minutes.
4. Add green beans, ranch seasoning, thyme, rosemary, and chicken broth.
5. Cover and simmer for 15–20 minutes until tender.
6. Stir in crispy bacon, season to taste, and serve warm.

Notes

– For extra richness, top with shredded cheese before serving.
– For a vegetarian version, omit bacon and use vegetable broth.
– Add a splash of chicken broth when reheating to retain moisture.
