Ingredients
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
– 8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
– 1 egg
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1 box white cake mix
– 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar (for coating)
– Optional: sprinkles, food coloring
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cream butter and cream cheese until smooth.
3. Mix in egg and vanilla extract.
4. Gradually add cake mix, forming a thick dough.
5. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and coat with confectioners’ sugar.
7. Place balls on prepared sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges set and centers are gooey.
9. Cool on sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
