- 6–8 slices of ham
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, Gruyere, or Swiss)
- 2 tbsp mustard (optional)
- 1 tbsp fresh or dried herbs (parsley, thyme, or chives)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread mustard evenly, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Layer ham slices and sprinkle with cheese and herbs.
- Roll the pastry tightly into a log, chill for 10 minutes.
- Slice into 1/4-inch rounds and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed. Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, use roasted vegetables instead of ham.
- Unbaked pinwheels can be frozen and baked directly from frozen.
